Field Oriented Control of Doubly Fed Induction Motor using Speed Sliding Mode Controller

This article presents a modeling and control of the Doubly Fed Induction Motor (DFIM), associated with two inverters controlled through Pulse Width Modulation technique (PWM), DFIM is carried out by approach Rotor Flux Oriented Control (RFOC) according to direct axis. In this approach, regulation done classic PI regulators, latter having undesirable overruns static errors in non-linear systems, for that introduction sliding mode place speed regulator, form law based on type controller since it invariant non-linearity system precise, stable, simple has good response time, order validate objectives improving behavior front reference parameters, such as torque imposed machine. The results proposed are validated its implementation Matlab/Simulink environment.
